Pousada Constellation Lodge

I had a great stay here. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the breakfast was generous, and the service was excellent, especially the customer care.

It was okay.

Cauã really stood out. He replaced the damaged single mattress, made the bed himself, offered to light the garden fireplace, and even gave us a taxi driver's number without being asked. The inn is in a nice, quiet spot, a short drive from Capivari, and the heating worked well when temperatures were between 9 and 26°C, though I don't know how it fares in winter. Breakfast was very tasty. The service otherwise felt very basic, and the staff seemed inexperienced. The inn may have been leased fairly recently, which could explain that. The few things we requested in the booking weren't provided or mentioned. Two people in our family had birthdays, so we asked for an apartment with a nice view, but got the room with the worst view, even though the place itself was pretty. At another inn we'd just left, they had welcomed us with a birthday card and chocolate on the bed, which is the kind of thing that's normal in Campos. When I asked about the garden fireplace, one employee thought there was no wood, but we later saw a whole lot of it in the service area.

We were five people in three rooms, and everyone had the same wonderful impression. The view from the room was lovely, and the bed, bathroom, shower, and warm bathroom floor were all great. Breakfast was generous, with a good range of choices. The room cleaning stood out too, everything smelled fresh and clean. The service was very good, and it was excellent value. We'd recommend it!
