The inn is new, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, with a good shower and new, comfortable mattresses. The owners, Glória and Francisco, are incredible, so welcoming and attentive, and they serve wonderful yogurt. Honestly, Glória and Francisco alone make the stay well worth it.

We felt right at home thanks to Roberta and her mother Glória, who also shared lots of local tips and helped us with support for outings around town. We’d booked at the last minute on a rainy day and were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome. Everything felt new, and the room smelled lovely and was incredible. After days on the road, that breakfast was the best we’d had. The peach DANONE made right there at the inn is especially worth trying. Caraíva is a magical place, and I already want to return.

You can get lunch, dinner, or a snack at the inn, handy if you’d rather not keep going out. Glória’s homemade natural yogurt is delicious, too. The grounds make it easy to visit several different beaches without crossing the Rio Caraíva. The pool area is excellent, and the inn itself is beautiful, with spacious, clean rooms. The owners are lovely, kind, attentive people who gave us all the help we needed. Absolutely wonderful!
