Pousada Varanda da Serra

The feeling of the place stayed with me most: it’s peaceful and welcoming, the kind of place that makes you feel looked after. I also want to thank Dona Nice and Day, who prepared breakfast with such care and greeted us with a sincere, warm smile. I had the privilege of visiting Cavalcante (GO) this week and staying at Pousada Varanda da Serra. Tami welcomed us with so much kindness from the moment we arrived, and was always patient and helpful with our questions. The room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and pillows, and a great shower. You can tell a lot of care goes into the facilities. Breakfast was generous, with fresh items made with love. The little cotton bread won me over, and knowing they make it themselves made it feel even more special. Thank you to the whole team for making us feel at home so far from home. Day looked after us so warmly. She showed us to our room, kept it clean each day, and made an amazing breakfast with cake and bread she’d baked herself. The place is very cozy, and we really enjoyed the sauna and the pool filled with waterfall water. Breakfast was incredible.

We felt at home from the minute we arrived, thanks to the friendly, attentive owners and team at Pousada Varanda da Serra. It’s a calm place with lovely views of the surrounding nature, and the rustic decor fits the setting well. The location also makes it easy to get to the main sights in the area. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, with a wide bed, spacious bathroom, and high-quality sheets and towels. It had everything we needed to rest after our outings. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh fruit, homemade bread and cakes, and natural juices, all prepared with care. Sitting on the veranda in the cool morning air and looking out over the green landscape was lovely. The peaceful atmosphere and close connection with nature made the stay feel special. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking to relax and stay comfortably in the area, and we’ll remember the visit for a long time.

The only letdown was the bathroom. It was spacious, but the cleaning could’ve been better, and the sink was quite stained. The four-person chalet itself was roomy and clean, with fresh, comfortable beds. The people were very friendly and attentive, breakfast was wonderful, and the location was peaceful and quiet.
