The rooms were clean and spacious, and the pools were nice. There’s a good choice of drinks and the food is delicious. They also have things to join in, like stretching or dance classes. A great all-inclusive resort.

The natural setting here is amazing. Still, after coming back from time to time, I’ve watched the place slide over roughly the past 13 years, from excellent to good and now just OK. There’s been little investment in new attractions, and the food has declined too. These days the buffet feels like a big fast-food spread. If you want to put on weight, just keep eating. Maintenance has also become a real problem: many elevators don’t work, deposit safes and the coffee machine were broken, and some rooms smell of mold, among other issues. Sadly, I think this was our last visit.
