When I miss it and my heart aches, this feels like a home I can always return to. That sense of belonging is what makes it perfect for me. Happy, happy... it's one of a kind and doesn't fit the labels below. 🌎#1

My father stayed at Lar Mariazinha for 15 days last year for what was supposed to be rehabilitation for elderly people through Prevent Sênior. He only got worse, and there isn't even a cardiologist there. The companions' meals are served in a dark restaurant that feels like a mausoleum. The place is horrible, and I can't forget it. My father died because of their error, after he aspirated because too much food was given through his feeding tube. They increased the dosage, saying it was too low. When they realized what had happened, they had to suction him mechanically. It was terrifying and deeply traumatic. The companions were forced to leave the room during the cruel procedure. Images of this former hotel's spaces keep coming back to me. Don't take your elderly family members there. Don't let someone die early because of another party's mistake.
