The service stood out most, everyone was courteous and helpful. It's a relaxing place with a pool and bar, plus local treats like wine and aged cheeses, including Brie-style ones. The rooms are a little small, though typical for this kind of Brazilian pousada. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are decent and renovated. There's also a restaurant with a simple menu made with quality ingredients. I'd give it a 9.

Their tropeiro and lombo really caught my attention, definitely worth trying. The guesthouse is pleasant, with friendly staff, and it's around a 10-minute walk from the city center. Most things are average, from breakfast and furnishings to the rooms and lunch and dinner. Some rooms are very large, which could work well for a family or a longer stay in Diamantina.

The view was great, and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was good too, and the price felt fair for the service.
