The views are incredible, and the location in the mountains of Espírito Santo is hard to beat. The customer service is right there when you need it. Honestly, I can’t think of a more gorgeous place to stay around Blue Stone than Echo of the Forest. Go on, say it with me: ECHO of the FOREST! How does it sound?

I didn’t stay, but I looked around the property and am completely sure it’s closing soon. It already looks abandoned, a real fall from grace. There’s also a shuttered, abandoned convention center.
