Boldro Surf House - Noronha

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst places I've stayed in Brazil. Breakfast was awful, there's no reception or place to leave your bags, the minibar was empty, and there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. You can't even buy water at the pousada. It's hard to reach and far away. The problem isn't that it's basic, it's how little the stay has to offer. I couldn't go somewhere else because of money, though I saw someone who could leave in the middle of the night because they hated it too. The one positive is that everything was clean.

I absolutely loved this pousada. It's simple but cozy. I especially liked Gustavo, who handles guest service and organizing the place. He's so attentive to guests, and my stay was a ten out of ten. I'll come back, and I hope Gustavo is there to welcome us again. What a great professional. See you soon, Gustavo! 🙏❤

The pousada is wonderful, and Gustavo is so attentive. He's a real gem, and I loved meeting him. When I come back to the island, I'll look for him again. His simple, warm way won me over. I saw some people saying he doesn't treat guests well, but that's not true. He just has his own way of doing things, and that's what makes him special. 🙏🏻🙌🏻

The place is very quiet, and the other guests were considerate. Júnior was the standout, so kind and doing everything around the pousada, from cooking and cleaning rooms to electrical work. The place is very basic and expensive for what they charge. There's no reception, so if something goes wrong you can only complain the next day, which makes things difficult. I arrived tired and just wanted a shower, but the water was cold. Later they told me the heating element had a problem, which is unacceptable when they knew about it and had guests coming. I had no way to complain, so my only option was a cold shower. The double bed is two singles pushed together. There are no toiletries, and the towels were worn and stained, so I used my beach towel. They need to invest more in the property and facilities, including a reception area, better landscaping, and a separate room for breakfast. Guests near the kitchen and breakfast area wake up to noise from setup or people serving themselves, which is unpleasant.
