After nearly six months of traveling, I really appreciated the hostel's relaxed, welcoming feel. Ilha Hostel was a comfortable place to unwind, and both Alexandre and Katia made me feel at home. Katia was kind and helpful, and Alexandre was there with advice, help booking tours, and whatever else I needed. My Portuguese is limited, but his English was good enough that we could communicate easily. The location in Fernando de Noronha is one of the best, and the prices are excellent. Snorkel rentals are a nice extra that make exploring the island more affordable. I also liked the water system, where one payment covers all the water you need, which feels practical and sustainable on Noronha. Many thanks to Alexandre and Katia for making my stay go so smoothly. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Ilha Hostel to anyone visiting Fernando de Noronha.

The only real drawback was the noise. There's a club nearby, and it plays music until around 4 am on most days. It rarely bothered us, though, because after walking so much during the day we fell asleep quickly. We spent a week in the private room and had an amazing stay. The hostel has a well-stocked kitchen, air conditioning, a laundry area, and a lovely cat. The cat isn't technically allowed inside, but likes being around people and getting scratches. The location is great too, within walking distance of three beautiful beaches, the bus stop, and some nice restaurants. The host, Lydia, who I hope I've spelled right, is an official national park guide, so you can count on her to arrange excursions.

Katia and Alexandre really made the difference for me. They arranged my outings in a special way and were so attentive and helpful that their care made me feel at home. The hostel itself has excellent facilities and a great location, close to the main beaches. It's also near the best nightlife spots, and you can get around on foot with peace of mind. I highly recommend Ilha Hostel!

Staying at the hostel definitely made my time on the island better. The location was perfect, and the hospitality was outstanding. When I lost my phone in the sea, Alexandre gave me all the support he could. He also shared valuable tips for enjoying the island. I have nothing to complain about and will stay here again when I return to Noronha.
