The price was great for what I got: a clean private room and a really nice pool area. It's a bit far from the center, though.

After driving for five hours, I was told at check-in that the hotel wouldn't take a credit card and had to go find an ATM. That was especially frustrating since I'd already paid a deposit. Why wouldn't a place accept cards nowadays?

The staff were great, and everything was tidy and clean.

The room was dirty and there was a cockroach. There was also a lot of noise, like people were banging overhead. Whenever someone flushed, I could hear water running along the corners beside the bed. And the sheet wouldn't stay on the bed.
