What really made our two-night stay special was how warmly we were welcomed. Arthur carried our bags up, told us we could pay whenever, and gave us advice on where to go and what prices to expect. Later, his mother Anna even took us into Lagoa the next day to look for flats because we were hoping to stay longer. We thought rent would be around 1500 real a month, but she found us a furnished two-bedroom apartment for only 800 real a month, just a short walk from the beach. The room was airy and spacious, with an incredibly comfortable bed. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. And the view was breathtaking. We walked along the canal and saw hundreds of fish darting through the clear water. It hardly seemed real. There were three of us, and after the dirt and stress of Rio, this place felt like another world. It was the warmest, most welcoming and relaxed hostel we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in plenty. I couldn’t recommend it more.

The setting is peaceful and handy for getting to all the different beaches. Our room had a wonderful view, and the hostel was clean and tidy with a great kitchen. Lara was a great host and gave us useful advice about the area.

I come back every year and stay for 15 days. Everything is so organized and thoughtfully done, from reception and cleaning to the rooms, local tips, and general atmosphere. The location is perfect for hiking and enjoying the beaches. My favorite place on Ilha de Floripa!

Lovely view of the lagoon, and there’s a market nearby where you can pick up food to make in the hostel kitchen. The price is a little high for a hostel, and there’s no breakfast, but it’s a nice place.

We had no plan when we went to Barra, and yours was the only hostel that welcomed us. It was a unique experience meeting everyone. The reception was so friendly that we felt at home, and the price was fair. The view is beautiful, and we left already wanting to come back soon. Thanks so much, Lara, Emi, and Coco.
