The location is good if you want to be near the Rambla, but no one mentions that you can’t swim there. At that height, the work on Iracema Street and next door has left cliffs almost 3 meters high and impressive waves, making the water inaccessible for swimming. The building was almost empty, and the receptionists’ service was awful. So was the “manager,” Mr. Ruam, whom I never saw. For check-in, he sent a young man to give me the apartment password and explain where the apartment was. Even though I know Portuguese, I couldn’t understand them because they mumbled. It seemed they had trouble speaking. There were almost never people at the pool, bar, or elevators. Yesterday I counted 11 people.
