Sanma Hotel

The restaurant was a real letdown, and we wouldn't recommend eating there. It's worth taking the 20-minute Uber ride into town for the excellent food options. Our rooms were very small, and without the extra points we got from our airline, we wouldn't have stayed. On the plus side, the staff were super nice, the massage was great, and the little travel agency inside the hotel put together a smooth three-day itinerary for us, including a trip to the Argentinan side of Iguazu, though it wasn't cheap. The location is ideal for Iguazu, within walking distance of the park entrance, helicopter flights, and parque las avas. Don't miss that amazing botanical garden and bird sanctuary.

We thought the price was very reasonable, and would have gladly stayed another day. The hotel is literally next to Parque das Aves, about a five-minute walk away. The Iguazu Falls Visitor's Center, where you can buy tickets and catch the shuttle to the falls, is diagonally across from the bird park and easy to walk to. There’s a beautiful pool, a great included buffet breakfast, and lovely public spaces filled with artwork. Outside, you can stretch out on something like a big hammock or trampoline, look up at the trees, and listen to the birds. There's also an extensive jungle walk on a well-marked path. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the service was perfect. They can store your bags if you want to explore after checking out. Bellboys take your luggage to your room when you arrive. A good tip is R$20.

The landscape around the hotel is beautiful, and there's a big pool with a hot tub and sauna beside it. Breakfast was wonderful, and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. The concierge gentleman especially made our visit memorable. Our room was on the small side but very comfortable. It's an amazing hotel, just a short walk from the waterfall park. Highly recommend.

The garden and pool area have a relaxing feel, and the food and service were great. The staff were welcoming, caring, and polite, especially Sergio. The room and public areas were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Sanma isn't close to the city center, but the falls and Bird Park are within walking distance, which was what I most wanted to see. My husband and I had a great stay, 10 out of 10!
