Hotel Sol de Itapuã

The value for money was great, and the hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff were very polite and attentive, breakfast was very good, and parking was easy to access and really good. The room was spacious, with a desk, table, chairs, and an excellent TV. Everything was clean. The bathroom had a hot shower, a good flush, and a good towel. The bed linens were new and clean, and the new pillow had a protective cover. There was normal noise. The hotel has an elevator and a balcony.

A really nice stay. The people were very polite, and the place had that cozy feeling of grandma's house.

What a miserable place to stay. The room was old, like something thrown together by people building any old way in an informal settlement, but that's not even the worst of it. The owner and staff ought to be ashamed of calling that breakfast. The juice came in one of those 2-liter containers, which I've never seen at a hotel, and there wasn't even ham or mozzarella as a snack option. It cost $220 for a couple to sleep there. That's why the place is in this state, then they complain the business isn't moving forward. If you need to sleep somewhere, find a motel or inn and avoid this place. The only people who could praise somewhere like this must be related to the owner.

The bed was old and uncomfortable, and the food was really bad. The only decent breakfast bits were coffee with milk and bread; the juice came from a packet, there was little variety, and the cake seemed to be from the day before and had mold. The noise was unbearable, starting before 8 p.m. and continuing through the night, with more banging around 5 in the morning. I also came because of a Google ad promising a 10% discount, but they refused to give it and made a string of excuses that didn’t make sense. I didn’t get any rest, and I wouldn’t recommend the experience.
