Pousada Alma da Gamboa

The park has benches and tables among the local vegetation, and there's plenty of room for the whole family to gather around the big table for a barbecue. We could use the grill and clay oven, take yoga classes, and enjoy the hot tub. It’s also close to the beach and the whale watching observation deck. A beautiful spot with great views, surrounded by nature. I think it’s perfect if you want to relax and enjoy a different kind of stay. I’d definitely recommend it and come back!

What a shame the owners were so unkind and negligent. Mucho Bla Bla Bla……poco sentido común! It was August 26, cold and rainy, and the establishment wasn’t suited to that weather. We were the only guests. The room was cold, damp, and had no insulation or heating. We’d booked in advance through Booking. As soon as we stepped inside, they were in a hurry to take payment in cash and leave immediately, apparently because they needed the money so badly. We saw the room didn’t meet our expectations and decided to leave and find somewhere else. We waited almost two hours for the owners to return, then told them we weren’t comfortable and wanted a refund for the night. We agreed to get in touch a few days later to sort it out. We’re still waiting for any answer or explanation.

The view was lovely, and the location was excellent, very close to the beach. At Posada Armada Gamboa, the breakfast was delicious, the beds were very comfortable, and the hosts were pleasant and attentive. I had a great stay and recommend it!
