Hotel Alpestre

Breakfast was fantastic, with a huge range of food, and our room was clean, comfortable, and a good size. My wife and I loved it. The hotel sits on one of Gramado's main streets, around a 10-minute walk from the center, with attractions, things to do, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. It's a beautiful, cozy hotel, and I'd definitely come back if I'm in town.

The front desk staff were polite, and I enjoyed the bicycle ride, but this was the worst hotel night I've had so far. The bedroom was really, really small. The curtains wouldn't close completely, there were lots of mosquitoes and bed bugs, and the heated pool was nasty. The aromatic scent was overpoweringly strong, and the ambient music was loud.

The quiet location, lovely bedrooms, great restaurant, and family-friendly feel made this a really relaxing stay. Alpestre has a cozy fireplace, a spa, and plenty of space. I spent nearly three hours one day just chilling in the very warm indoor hydro pool. Breakfast was 10 out of 10, with just about everything, including waffles with melted chocolate, lots of cakes, breads and fruit, plus the usual scrambled eggs and sausages. The staff were friendly, and the food was great. The scent in every room really stood out. They created their own memorable fragrance, which honestly smelled like my Tom Ford cologne, and I ended up buying some. For my next stay in GRAMADO, I'd book here without a second thought. I only wish there were a separate bar from the restaurant with a wider cocktail selection, like classic margaritas and strawberry caipirinhas.

I stopped by this lovely hotel for afternoon tea in its cute cafe, with a view over the beautiful gardens. The facilities are top quality, and both the staff and atmosphere felt welcoming. If you're visiting Gramado, this is a great hotel to stay at.
