It was okay.

The service was a real letdown. I had to cancel my reservation a day ahead for personal reasons, but they told me cancellation wasn't possible, so I lost 50% of the stay. Nobody had explained the cancellation policy to me when I booked. The money itself isn't even the issue, but I'd tell people to look into the place before booking.

The garden has no one looking after it, and the place is getting uglier and seems almost abandoned. I was there, and what people are saying here is all lies. Pousada Américo is slowly falling apart.

The place is simple but cozy, and the owner is a really nice guy. I had a very good stay.

I want to come back. It’s a cozy place, and Américo himself gave great service.
