There were cockroaches and moths in our room, and the toilet leaked water all over the place. Cleaning was extremely poor, including in the restaurant. They seemed to have no concern about COVID 19.

I've traveled a lot, but I've never seen a hotel this run-down. One day there's no electricity, another there's no water. The fan sounds like a helicopter, and the minibar heats drinks more than a microwave would. I gave up on the stay. Put all the staff together and they still wouldn't make one competent person. They're incompetent and careless, and the rooms and whole place smell like a nursing home. A complete disgrace. Even free, it's too expensive!

The breakfast was really limited, and I wasn't impressed. The room felt unpleasant, with a used-looking stain on the sheet and a dark towel that made it hard to tell if it was clean. The night attendant wasn't friendly either.

The staff showed little interest in fixing anything, and their manner was rude. They offered no compensation. Since arriving on the 18th, the stay at Hotel Silveira has been one frustration after another. The water was cloudy and yellowish, with a strong smell of chlorine or impurities. When I leaned close to the shower, my nose and throat burned, and I started coughing and felt uncomfortable breathing. The shower was cold every day. They blamed the solar water heater and said it was raining, though since the 18th we'd only had rain in the late afternoon and at night. It felt like an excuse. The room and bedding were dusty, and the bathroom fan and refrigerator were caked with dust. The fan made noise but barely moved any air. When we asked for cleaning, they said it was only done every other day, but the cleaning day never seemed to come. Wi-Fi dropped several times a day and was weak even in the hallway, so working or making video calls was impossible. Breakfast was scant: stale bread, weak coffee with no refills, and food that was cold and poor quality. For the price, I expected basic hygiene, drinkable water, and some comfort. I can't recommend it. Save your time and money and look at other places in Guarapari.

We ended up buying drinking water every day because the hotel didn't provide any. The shower water was dirty as well as cold, and we never got a hot shower during our stay. They said the water was heated by solar power and couldn't warm up because it was raining. We arrived on the 18th for the long holiday and found a dusty, dirty room. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and the bed linens were badly stained. The bunk bed had been patched together with a little piece of metal fastening the upper and lower beds. It looked so flimsy that we were afraid to sleep on the top bunk in case it fell on the person below. The breakfast was so poor it was hardly worth calling breakfast. The minibar wasn't clean, and the room had a very old, tiny tube TV with a black-and-white, fuzzy picture that was impossible to watch. The staff were rude and didn't seem concerned about sorting out any of these problems. It was a headache from start to finish. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Pay a little more and go somewhere else.
