Pousada Verdes Mares

Pretty cool.

We were at Pousada Verdes Mares in January 2026, and it turned out much better than we expected. It's a simple place, but had what we needed to feel comfortable. The room was spotless when we arrived, with clean bedding, a sanitized bathroom, and a minibar that smelled freshly cleaned. The only thing that bothered me a little was the soundproofing between rooms, though it didn't spoil the stay. The location made things easy: right by the sea and close to restaurants, grocery stores, and pharmacies. We booked directly with the owner on WhatsApp. He was very attentive, answered all our questions, and sent pictures of the rooms along with the house rules. Breakfast is only served during certain seasons, and it suited us well. There were fresh rolls, well-cooked scrambled eggs, several kinds of cake, and tasty coffee. The hot dog sauce was a particular treat, simple and balanced, with just the right tomato tang. It was chef-level stuff. We'd happily recommend Pousada Verdes Mares. It exceeded our expectations.

A nice spot for a few restful days, very near the beach. There are also places to eat within walking distance.

The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great. From the welcome onward, everything was lovely. The owner kept checking that things were replenished.
