LUNA Hotel Boutique

There isn't an elevator or a phone in the rooms, everything is handled through WhatsApp. The pool is heated, though it got cold when it rained, and the ceiling lining over the bar was coming down after heavy rain in the area. The reception doesn't match the hotel's luxury. We also weren't told that the beach in front wasn't safe for swimming, or that carrying a bag, watch, and similar items along the local waterfront could put you at risk of being robbed.

My little dog fell from the first floor because there was no protection. It was terrifying, and could have ended tragically. The same unsafe setup could put a baby or child at risk. Although the hotel presents itself as pet friendly, it didn't provide adequate safety. Afterward, some staff vaguely asked if she was okay, but nobody took action, offered help, or accepted responsibility. I was so upset and disappointed that I didn't feel safe or comfortable staying, so I left. A hotel that welcomes families and animals shouldn't be so careless about safety. I'm warning others because I don't want anyone else to face the same risk.

The rooms with balconies have a MARVELOUS view, a real paradise outside the window, and the pool was clean and a good temperature. The room cleaning was excellent, and the staff were kind, polite, and added a lot to the inn. But the lack of water ruined our family Christmas stay at LUNA. There was no water for the toilet, taps, or shower, so four guests couldn't even manage basic hygiene. They said the problem was with the block, but the place wasn't full and still had rooms available, so that doesn't explain the lack of preparation. The kitchen only operated for breakfast, with few choices and bread that looked oddly colored. We'd stayed one night before and loved it, but this recent experience was frustrating. The price is high, and this time it didn't match the basic conditions. I wouldn't return because of the water problem.

We only ate here and didn't stay overnight. The seafood risotto was magnificent, generously served with lots of shrimp and other seafood, and the fries were well made too. Nathan was excellent, very friendly and capable, though the kitchen could be a bit faster. The place is really pretty and airy. We'll be back.
