The beachside location is lovely, with a rainforest view, and one of the two men at reception was genuinely helpful. He arranged a boat taxi to the ferry and carried our heavy luggage. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the ferry. Still, the value didn’t add up for us. The pousada seems to have been renovated recently, but already had marks on the walls, a dirty carpet, and a very dusty air conditioner that I thought might even have mold, so we didn't use it. Breakfast was very basic, and there were no mosquito screens on the windows.

Agustin at the front desk made things easy from start to finish, booking extra activities and sorting out the arrangements. We really enjoyed the activities he set up. The room was great and breakfast excellent, too. We had a lovely stay. Thanks to Agustin and Team Pousada do Canto!

The staff at Pousada do Canto were so kind, and they helped make one of the most beautiful days of my life. My boyfriend secretly planned a proposal with the hotel team. I'll never forget it. Love this place 🫶🏼

That pool and patio are beautiful, and being right on the beach made our time at Pousada do Canto a big part of why we loved Ilha Grande. Breakfast was quite nice, and the staff did an okay job. Drinks and snacks in the lobby cost the same as at the markets, so grab a beer and relax by the pool. One annoyance: our doorway smelled like the previous guest's feet, and housekeeping kept forgetting to replace the toilet paper. We had to ask for more a few times when we were completely out.

We could hear the waves from our room and look straight out at the beach, which was so relaxing. The place had everything we wanted: air conditioning, a good shower, tasty breakfast and a pool. The accommodations were perfect. Highly recommend!
