For the price, this place is very basic. There wasn't even a desk or chair in the room. The power went out during a town blackout, and it seemed the pousada had no backup generator. EDIT: The owner said heavy rain caused the blackout, but there was no heavy rain on the island during my stay. The outage lasted one night, while most other places seemed to have backup generators.

Renan and his team were great for getting around the island. We took the "Volta à Ilha= Whole Island Tour" and the "Ilhas Paradisíacas = Paradise Islands Tour" with Renan(Tour Agent)and André (Pilot). They were very friendly and responsible, and made us feel safe and comfortable. Excellent service, highly recommend them! One tip: no need to bring your GoPro. You can rent one at a reasonable price from Debora (in front of Renan's place). Thanks, guys!

The worst part was losing about 200 euros and two gold chains inside the pousada. My wallet never left the room, which left me seriously worried about security. The rest of the stay was full of basic problems too: there was never hot water from the shower, despite its two taps, and the pousada's Wi-Fi didn't work at all. Towels weren't changed, and the bed was often left as it was, with sand still on it. There was no receptionist when we arrived, and we only got in with help from a cleaning worker. Later, when I tried to sort out an issue with the remote control, the receptionist was again nowhere to be found. Other staff gave vague answers and no solution. It was a deeply disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend it, especially because of the lack of security and guest support.
