Pousada Uluwatu

The location made daily outings easy, close to everything and convenient with kids. We spent five days as a family, with our two children, including a little one, and felt welcome from the start. Pousada Uluwatu is cozy, tidy, and clearly well cared for. The hosts are thoughtful, attentive people who take their work seriously and provide genuinely good service. It has a peaceful, home-like feel and a safe, relaxed family atmosphere, so we could rest without worrying. The cleanliness and care for guests stood out. We’d recommend it to families again and again, and we’ll be back with this lovely experience in our hearts.

The team was attentive, polite, and always ready to help, so we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, with good choices and everything prepared well. The inn is charming, welcoming, and very well cared for, with clean, comfortable, well-equipped rooms. Its location is excellent, close to the beach but still peaceful. We had a wonderful time relaxing at Praia do Rosa, and would gladly recommend it and return.

The veranda and pool area are lovely, and the complex is in very good shape. It’s peaceful during the day. But our family was on vacation with an infant, and the rooms felt too small for three people. That could get chaotic if it rains. The soundproofing is poor, and every night there was very loud music outside the complex. With so little noise insulation, sleeping was almost impossible, especially with a small child. Then the bakery next door started working early, making rest difficult again. The towels, sheets, and blankets could be better, as could the cleaning during our stay and the breakfast variety. Marcela, who helps with breakfast each morning, was attentive and friendly, which we appreciated. We had a car, and I think the place and location suit people visiting Rosa better if they’re without small children and don’t mind noise at night, or if they don’t have a car. Being close to the center is a big plus, and you can walk about 15 minutes uphill to reach the beautifully pristine sea.

The hosts were so kind and attentive, and the inn is close to everything, including the center and trails to the beaches. I loved staying here. The rooms are great, and everything was clean and organized. I’ll definitely come back.
