Studios Malakoopa

We were welcomed very warmly by Léo and his wife. The suite looked like the photos on the site, but there were lots of cobwebs, including one with a huge spider still there. There were bugs in the bed and grit or sand on the sheets. The hammock was dirty and smelled bad. Not all the stove burners worked, and there were no matches or lighter. The TV didn’t work properly, and there was no microwave. The road was awful. Parking is free and included, but it’s on the street.

The place was completely disgusting and nowhere near the photos. There was so much lack of hygiene, and it was missing everything, even cutlery. The towels were stained, the bed had someone else’s hair all over it, and there was a mosquito on the bed. It looked like the room hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The blankets stank from not being washed for so long. They say it’s a double bed, but it’s actually two single beds pushed together. There were so many cobwebs. The owner makes you pay everything upfront so you can’t leave later, and there are no refunds. This was simply the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

The place looks nothing like the photos. It’s dirty, neglected, and poorly cared for, as if the people responsible have left it to fall apart. It needs more organization and improvements.

The location, safety, quiet, and peace here were incredible. My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon, and we loved it. Leo and his wife, the hosts, were extremely helpful and polite. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it!
