Bahia Bonita Flat

We left the car behind and walked to Resende, tiririca, costa, ribeira, concha and ponta do xereu beaches. The flat is in a quiet street near the village center, with plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants around. Our apartment was clean and well equipped, with good air conditioning and shower, plus a balcony hammock. We stayed on the second floor, which has a steep staircase; that was fine for us, but anyone with mobility limits should ask for the ground floor. The cleaning staff were attentive, and communication with the administrators on WhatsApp was quick and easy.

We were really satisfied with our stay. The rooms were clean and new, and the location near Pituba was great. We only used the car for beaches farther away. The person who helped us, sorry, I’ve forgotten their name, was always helpful and responsive.

The apartment was spacious and bright, with good curtains and very good internet. My speed test showed 50 Mbps both down and up. They’d thought through little details too, like flowers on the balcony and by the bathroom counter. I always check air-conditioning filters to see how well a room is cared for, and they were absolutely clean, as was everything else. The bedroom had a great bed, air conditioning, a TV I didn’t turn on, and a large open wardrobe with a hanging rail, hangers and shelves for bags and belongings. The kitchen was well equipped, and the laundry area had a clothesline and sink. There was also a comfortable sofa bed in the living room, with a second bed underneath, plus a table and two chairs. It’s less than a five-minute walk from the center and about six or seven minutes from Concha beach. The streets are well lit and feel safe, so walking to the center at night is easy.

It felt like being at home: quiet, clean, organized and welcoming. I could easily make my own food and have a coffee whenever I felt like it. Karine, the owner, is very helpful and friendly. I’m already looking at dates for another visit.
