Buddy's Hostel e Pousada

The volunteers were really nice, and the people created a great vibe, which makes this a shame. The owner tries to charge double the advertised room price and won't let you change rooms without paying for both. The rooms are run down and need a proper clean, and the bathrooms need maintenance. They're hot too, with no AC. I wouldn't support a business like this.

The communal space with hammocks and the hostel's beautiful energy were highlights for me. The location is perfect, and I loved every moment there. My room was spacious and cleaned daily. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. This was the best hostel I stayed at in Brazil. All the volunteers were amazing and made me feel like part of the family.

We spent a week in a private room while visiting Itacaré from the United States, and the whole stay at Buddys made us happy. The common area was a lovely place to hang out, with friendly staff and guests and good vibes. The location can't be beat. Our bed was very comfortable, and the rooms and facilities were cleaned every day. Breakfast was something we looked forward to: eggs, Brazilian couscous, corn bread, fruit, granola, other breaded snacks, juice, and coffee. If you're choosing a place in Itacaré, look no further.

The location is the best, just two minutes from the main street where things get lively at night. The room was clean, breakfast was simple but delicious, and the workers were very friendly.
