Pousada na Colina

We loved absolutely everything and are grateful to Sr. Sebastião and Dona Margarida, such warm and kind hosts. My husband and I had perfect days at Pousada na Colina, a magical place with wonderful energy. The outdoor area is surrounded by green, with imposing araucaria trees, birdsong, and a peaceful silence that leaves you feeling restored. Our chalet was cozy, and the mountain air and comfortable bed made it hard to leave the room. Breakfast was another delight: Dona Margarida made everything by hand, and Sr. Sebastião served it at each table. We often choose cozy places to stay, but it's hard to find anywhere like Pousada da Colina, even among more luxurious places or those with easier access. We hope to return many times.

The inn was cozy and very nice, and everything felt just right. We especially enjoyed the mountain and valley views, along with the care and welcome from the owners, Sra Margarida and Sr Sebastião. Breakfast was really good, with cheese bread, cookies, and yogurt, all made by the owners.

Getting to the inn is a little tricky in a low car, but if you take care, you can make it there easily. The place sits in a lovely valley where we had peaceful days, and we hope to return to this blessed inn. We had a wonderful stay in a spacious, spotless chalet with a whirlpool tub, hot shower, and a great fireplace. The hosts, Sr. Sebastião and his wife, Sra. Margarida, made it feel less like service and more like a lovely visit with them. And I can't forget Tobi, the big family sized dog, haha. Breakfast was a dream in a very pleasant setting.

I came across the inn by chance without a reservation, and S. Sebastião welcomed me very warmly. Everything was cared for down to the smallest details. The chalet had a whirlpool tub, fireplace, fridge, comfortable beds, and fresh smelling sheets. Breakfast was perfect, with cheese bread, cookies, and yogurt, all made by the inn's owners.
