The grounds are beautiful, the beach is stunning, and the food is delicious. The staff are incredibly attentive, too. We first stayed at Bitingui Praia Hotel in 2001, loved it, and came back 24 years later. We’ll keep staying here whenever we return to the Northeast!

The breakfast and facilities were great, and there’s a good pool with bar service. The sea right in front can be affected by the tides, though, so swimming isn’t possible every day. You can rent a bike at the hotel and ride about 15 minutes to spots where you can swim anytime.

We stopped in for the restaurant and really liked the pizza selection. The mozzarella and margherita were especially close to perfect. There was live music that day too.

The pool was disgustingly dirty, and our restaurant experience was terrible. After taking our order, they waited 30 minutes to tell us they were out of juice, so we switched to water. Another 15 minutes later, they said they had no chicken, even though three of the four of us had ordered it. The restaurant was empty.

We had lunch there and found the food good. The setting worked well for families, with a kids' playground and a lovely beach view. Service was friendly and professional.
