The owners were the highlight of our stay, two people from Italy who made us feel so welcome. Marco’s tips were especially helpful. Follow them blindly and you’ll find good food and nice places to visit. The place itself is comfortable and really nice, and breakfast is included and very good. Highly, highly recommended!

We had a bad experience because of a problem with our reservation. My wife, our 6-year-old son and I arrived in Jeriquaquara at 4:30 in the morning, but the booking only listed two people. Nobody was there to welcome us, so we were left outside with our bags and a child. At 7:00 am the owner showed up and said she couldn’t host two adults and a child because the reservation was only for two. She offered no other option and suggested we cancel. I would have slept on the floor if needed, but instead we had to look for somewhere else to rest after the trip. We found another pousada and were welcomed there. In the end, cancelling cost us 50% of the total, R$ 800,00. The owners showed no common sense and gave us no alternative. Maybe it was for the best, because if we were treated badly at check-in, imagine spending 5 days with them.
