Breakfast had lots of variety, and the women working at the buffet were absolute gems. I felt so comfortable at Pousada Mona Lisa. It's beautifully and romantically decorated, and the location is perfect, just a minute from the beach with lots of very good restaurants nearby.

We were there for a week around New Year's Eve 2020/21, and the hotel took all the necessary precautions to keep guests safe during the pandemic. The rooftop was fantastic, with a view of the sunset and beach that we really enjoyed. The location is right by the main thoroughfare, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Shout out to João, Talita, Giovanni and José. Noise from parties next door sometimes made sleeping difficult, though we go to bed earlier than most. All in all, I highly recommend this guest house.

The rooftop pool area was a lovely spot to catch some sun when we didn't feel like walking to the beach. You're right by the liveliest square and just a stone's throw from the sea, close enough to roll straight out of bed and into it. We did hear music from some inconsiderate neighbours until 1-2 AM, then again from 7 AM. That's not the Poussada's fault, though.
