We came back twice during our honeymoon, and the staff were so nice and friendly at check-in. Our room was spacious and gorgeous, and the breakfast variety really impressed us as a couple who enjoy good food. They also serve detox water in the lobby. We tried the different flavors and wanted to go back for more in the afternoon, only to find it was all gone, haha. We loved staying here and hope we can return.

We ended up changing hotels because of the problems, which meant extra cost and inconvenience and affected our time in Joao Pessoa. My stay at Nord Luxxor Tambau was highly unsatisfactory and fell well short of what I expect from a 4 to 5-star hotel. Service was slow and inattentive from the start. The third-floor corridor had a strong vomit smell. In the room, the sheets were musty, old, and nearly torn, and the bedside lamps had disturbing black spots that made me question the overall cleanliness. Noise insulation was poor, so street sounds and noises from neighboring rooms came through. Room service forgot basic items like yogurt. The bathroom had low-quality, public restroom-style toilet paper. Standard toilet paper and international power sockets weren't available either, and guests were directed to a nearby pharmacy for basic needs. The blackout curtain didn't work properly. Staff didn't speak English, which made communication difficult for non-Portuguese speakers.

João Pessoa is a gorgeous, vibrant city, with culture, beautiful beaches, and wonderful people. Hotel Nord Luxxor carries that culture through its service and special people. The dining and food are exceptional, the service is above exceptional, and the attention to detail is magnificent. On your next vacation, definitely visit joão Pessoa and stay at Nord Luxxor Tambau Beach.

The chef takes the time to greet and treat guests, and the service was excellent. Everything was neat and clean. Thanks, NORD LUXOR TAMBAÚ, for a great experience. Definitely recommend it, and we'll be back!

The rooftop pool lets you swim while enjoying the beach view. The room was clean and comfortable, and the internet was fast and stable. It’s a good hotel in an excellent location, near lots of restaurants and beach snack bars. Very nice.
