The hosts served three generous, varied homemade meals each day, including separate food for my vegan daughter. We also got to meet people who grew up in the Amazon and learn about their culture, which made the stay feel especially worthwhile. Anaconda sits on a small island about 15 meters wide and has 15 guest rooms. The staff were warm and welcoming. Each day included a roughly three-hour activity before lunch and another similar outing in the afternoon. We swam with dolphins, fished for piranhas, took a botanical walk in the jungle, visited a village, and watched a performance by local Indigenous people while trying fruits from the Amazon, among other activities. One night in the jungle stood out. We cooked for ourselves, carved spoons with our guide, built a table together, and wove a mat. We ate by candlelight and slept in hammocks. We saw lots of animals, too, and our guide even climbed a tree and brought down a monkey for us to see. Before we arrived, Eduardo was kind and quick to respond in our WhatsApp messages. An English-speaking guide picked us up from the hotel and shared fascinating information about the area and its culture along the way. This whole experience was absolutely worth the money, and then some.

The people made the Amazon experience amazing. MARIO, Wesley, the cook, and the rest of the team were fantastic, always smiling and ready to answer questions. Not everyone spoke English, but they still made an effort to help, and the experienced staff made the place feel safe and easy to enjoy. There are a few things the owner could improve, like the path to the boat and adding screens to the windows. Calling it an eco lodge doesn't mean some things in the rooms can't be addressed. The facilities could be better, and it looks like the owner is doing quite well, so he could put some money into them. Still, it was a quiet place with no problems, and a simple, relaxed way to experience the Amazon. Thank you, the cook was very tasty!

The guides knew a lot and were brave, and the hosts were genuinely friendly and helpful. It was well worth visiting. I'd definitely recommend the Anaconda tour, the whole crew were great to have around.

Michel was a terrific guide, kind, experienced in the jungle, and fluent in English, Spanish, Portugals, Dutch, and French. The tour logistics manager handled a range of jobs and told me a lot about the history of Manaus City and even the history of the Amazon State in Brazil. I feel the Anaconda resort team plays a very important part in bringing Brazilian Amazon jungle tours to visitors from around the world. This amazing natural jungle forest is a place people should come see.

The lodge is in a great spot, and the staff and guides were lovely. I also enjoyed the excursions. The bathrooms were horrible, though. The showers and toilets were badly maintained, and most of the time there was no water in the shower.
