I love this beautiful place, lindo.

Great.
On the upper floor, the standout features are the fifteen windows with cast iron railings and rectangular lintels. The ground level still has its sixteen arched doorways. This three story, century old building has 1911 marked on the facade, and once housed the now defunct Casa Kahn Polack. That's the Palace Hotel.
I used to live there for a long time with my mother, and I loved it. In central Manaus, the building is beautiful from the outside and used to be a fantastic hotel. The owner, D.Angela, and her faithful right hand and manager Ney looked after the guests like family.
The rooms look nice, but the TVs and intercoms don't work, and nobody makes an effort to fix them. The room wasn't cleaned well either, and the floor felt a bit sticky.
