Check-in went smoothly and the room was fine. The restaurant food was below par, and the Wi-Fi was incredibly slow and unreliable.

We lasted three hours here, which was 180 minutes too many, and long enough to get bitten by mosquitoes because the window couldn't be properly opened or shut. The room also had a still-wet towel left behind by the previous guest. Check-in took well over 20 minutes, and staff had to take our information again even though we'd already provided it beforehand. The staff may be nice, but they were the only good thing about the place, and they seemed completely incompetent. This barely qualifies as a hotel. Industry standards go to die here.

The airport is close, but the hotel isn't at the airport or within walking distance, and there's no airport shuttle. You'll need a taxi or Uber. On the way back, they have to drive to a retorno in the opposite direction, adding roughly the same distance as the trip from the hotel to the airport. It can double your travel time, so allow extra time when traffic is heavy. There are no restaurants or grocery stores within walking distance, so you're limited to the hotel restaurant or IFood. We booked three rooms for our family group of nine plus an infant. The hotel had carefully collected everyone's details in advance and again at check-in, yet each room had just two bath towels and no hand towels. That wasn't enough even for two people, let alone three. We had to leave young children in the rooms and go back to the desk for another towel. One room also had no blanket for the third bed, despite the hotel and our travel agent having the guest count. We ended up covering a very cold child with our jackets. Both problems could easily have been avoided with better planning and housekeeping checks. All three showers leaked water across the bathroom floors, even when we used them carefully. With no spare towels to soak it up, the floors became dangerously slippery. We reported the leaks at checkout, but other TripAdvisor reviews suggest this is a hotel-wide issue, so we aren't optimistic about it being fixed. The hallways and air conditioners also had a strange, unpleasant smell. There were convenient restaurant hours and plenty of food, so nobody in our group went hungry. Dinner options were varied, and breakfast included different breads, scrambled eggs, and fruit. Still, the food was just okay. Some serving staff seemed stressed during dinner. They started out friendly, then became unfriendly, or perhaps were simply under pressure for some reason. Whatever was happening in the kitchen affected the dining area and our experience. The reception staff were polite, friendly, capable, and multilingual, which helped after a long trip. The beds were clean, and the shower water pressure was excellent, a relief after a week in the rainforest. The stay cost too much for its quality. I only marked it kid-friendly because the form required an answer. They weren't openly unfriendly to children, but didn't do anything special to welcome them either.

The room was quite good, and the location near Manaus airport was convenient. Service was normal. One odd issue was charging: bring a universal charger, or you may have to buy one at the hotel and struggle to charge your phone. They also don't provide complimentary water in the room, so you have to buy cans.
