The location near the beach is good, but the pousada sits right beside the road and the rooms don't block outside noise well. There was a lot of traffic noise. Maintenance and general care also seemed lacking. The garden looked neglected, and there were too few bins in shared areas. I only found one by the pool after walking all the way around, tucked among construction materials. Loose stones around the pool edge could cause an accident, and the vehicle entrance is so narrow that getting in risks damaging the car. The beds had unstable, uncomfortable springs. In the room there was just one small bathroom bin and none in the bedroom, so we had to use bags for rubbish. There were no chairs. When I asked, I was told some rooms have them and some don't, even though our group paid the same rate for all the rooms. One room had four people but was given sheets for only three, because it had one double bed and two single beds. Housekeeping was said to happen every other day, which didn't feel adequate for a beach pousada. Once I left the key so the room could be cleaned, but it wasn't. The floor cloth was unusable, there was no hand towel, and toilet paper wasn't replaced after the room was tidied. Breakfast options were limited and not properly replenished. Guests arriving later found little to choose from, including fruit that seemed to have been reused. The owner's manner was another problem: he was not very cordial, answered sharply, and showed no interest in hearing or resolving complaints. I felt consistently disrespected as a guest. The stay didn't match either the price or the expectations set by the listing. We don't recommend it.

The owner was arrogant and rude, and treated guests with no respect. The room was in very poor shape, with basic items missing and several things broken, and it was dirty too. There was no real cleaning, and the place fell below even a basic standard of hygiene. Breakfast was a problem as well. They served spoiled watermelon, and when food ran out, it wasn't replenished, leaving later guests with less. After my daughter posted a review on Google, the owner replied with false claims that we had arrived with more guests than agreed and checked out at 4 p.m. Neither is true. We checked out properly at 11 a.m., within the stated time. It felt like an attempt to discredit a negative review and mislead readers instead of admitting the problems and making improvements. I can't even call it the worst stay I've ever had, since nothing like this has happened to me at any other accommodation. I don't recommend it.
