A great place, with clean rooms and a breakfast that was just right. The owner is very kind.

Really great, really great.

The ocean view and location were the best parts of my stay. Beyond that, I felt like they were doing me a favor, and an expensive one at that. For the same price, you can find much better prepared places to stay in Natal with better service. This was the only bad part of my trip to Natal, and choosing this place was a mistake. I can't recommend it. I stayed six days at Terra do Sol. Check-in started out helpful, but the service noticeably worsened after that, especially after I sent suggestions over WhatsApp about improving things for a longer stay. The price didn't match what was provided. Housekeeping was inadequate from the start. I asked for more thorough cleaning on the third day, but it stayed incomplete. I ended up taking the room's trash to reception myself. The receptionist, who I believe was the owner, reacted completely unprofessionally, yelling and throwing his phone in anger. We asked for plates and cutlery to eat in the room. The night receptionist said we could leave them there, since we'd brought them down ourselves the previous time, and that housekeeping would collect them the next day. When we got back from an outing, the dirty plates were still on the chair. I took them downstairs, and the receptionist I think was the owner asked whether that instruction had come from reception, as if removing used dishes weren't part of cleaning the room. Some of the staff were poorly mannered. The woman making tapioca and eggs at breakfast couldn't even manage to say “good morning” in reply. Breakfast itself was okay, and may be enough for a short stay. I only got a blanket after asking for one on the third day. They had no clean blankets, so they gave me sheets instead. Even in summer, some guests get cold, as I did. There's no intercom in the room, so you have to go downstairs whenever you need to speak to reception. We were briefly locked out of our room once. When I called the night receptionist, he said another guest had actually been locked inside her room just a few days earlier. I consider that extremely serious in any emergency. The outlets don't work properly, there are various structural problems, and lots of little things are poorly maintained. Bed linen and towels are changed only every three days. They don't provide shampoo or conditioner sachets, which are basic at hotels and inns.

We stayed in room 16, and the view was wonderful. The room was simple and cozy. For the price, it's really worth staying here, and the service gets a 10 from me.

The rooms are small, but comfortable for what they're meant for, a quiet night's sleep. The air conditioning gets very cold, and the shower has plenty of water. Everyone working there was excellent and very polite. I interacted with staff on every shift during my seven-day stay. Breakfast came on time and had plenty to choose from, including juices, cakes, and other food, all tasty. There was also a lovely woman who made scrambled eggs and tapioca fresh. The location is great, with an exit facing the beach. There are plenty of restaurants, food trailers, snack bars, and gift shops very close to the inn. I'd highly recommend it. They helped make my vacation days in Natal really good. Well done!
