The kitchen staff were attentive and helpful at breakfast, which was one bright spot. The rest was awful, and the small savings really weren’t worth it. We were a group of 10, and there weren’t enough blankets for everyone. Renting one cost 5 reais each, but when we tried, there were no blankets left anyway. The hotel and rooms are very old. The bathrooms smelled of sewage, the old taps in our bathrooms barely gave any water, and the showers dripped. There’s no accessibility for elderly people or people with disabilities. The bathroom floor was dangerously slippery, making it hard to shower while keeping your balance. Cleaning wasn’t done every day, and when anyone made a suggestion at the front desk, staff laughed in their face. Our room had a completely torn curtain. Some rooms we got had very rusty minibars, and the old TVs kept losing and regaining the picture. Breakfast was low quality. There’s more I could list, but it would take days. I’m writing this so other people coming to enjoy a trip don’t end up frustrated and miserable.

We liked the location, close to the beach and the square with food trucks, the bakery, and Aumer restaurant. The reception staff were friendly, and when we asked for room cleaning, it was done. Breakfast was tasty, though repetitive. We don’t have much else to complain about. We stayed in August of 2022 and arrived in the early hours of the morning. We were welcomed, filled out our details, and shown to our room. It didn’t match the photo we’d seen: the mattress was yellowed and torn at one corner, and the curtains were yellowed too. The room had a nice view of the sea. The bathroom was okay, and the shower worked perfectly, with cold, warm, and hot water. Noise was a bother. We could clearly hear sounds from neighboring rooms and groups talking loudly in the corridor, even at 3h in the morning.

The breakfast had plenty of tasty options, and the pool was open. I was nervous after reading the recent reviews because I’d booked this urban hotel, but the stay turned out great. All three rooms were huge and very clean, with hot showers, working air conditioning, and no issues with towels or bedding. The staff were polite, and the location was perfect, close to an area full of food trucks. Nothing to complain about.

We only stayed one night, and it was a really bad experience. For what we paid, I expected much better. The place smelled bad, the room and bathroom were poor, and the shower gave electric shocks, which was dangerous. Breakfast was chaotic, with dirty, crusted mugs mixed in with the clean ones. I honestly can’t name a single positive thing about the hotel, and my husband and I won’t stay there again. I still love Natal, though. The people are lovely, the city is beautiful, and the beaches are incredible. I’ll always come back, just to sleep somewhere else.

The staff were kind and friendly, but that was the only bright spot in room 119. The photos are old and don’t match what you get: the bed was broken, the air conditioner leaked, and the breakfast was poor, below the basics for a hotel. The shower barely had any water, and I even found a tiny cockroach in the bathroom. The pool area was under renovation, with restricted access. I can’t recommend this place.
