Great place.

The rooms were spotless when we arrived, and the air conditioning, fan, TV, and minibar all worked perfectly. Breakfast felt homemade, with a bit of Minas Gerais cooking, and there was a good range with enough for the number of guests. The pool stayed comfortably warm into the evening, so we could swim until around 22:00. Gustavo was an outstanding host, and the inn is peaceful, has its own parking, and is about a five minute walk from restaurants. I think it’s one of the city's best value options. Getting to the parks and attractions does require a car or an app ride. I’d suggest GP-car, which local hired drivers use most. We had a wonderful stay. Congratulations!

We arrived on a rainy Christmas Eve night, and Gustavo was there ready to welcome us. He’d been helpful from our first contact, and the hospitality was lovely. The inn is simple, peaceful, and welcoming, with a garden, pool, and animals around, including chickens and birds. We spotted a toucan, a hummingbird, and even a woodpecker. Breakfast is homemade and simple, with the amount adjusted to the number of guests and the basics for a good morning meal. Our room was clean and a good size for two. The bathroom could have been a little bigger and better ventilated, but it didn't make us uncomfortable. We’ll definitely come back, and next time we want a room facing the garden.

We were there in the low season and had the inn to ourselves. The owner came out to greet us, and the room was very good. We had to leave before breakfast time, so the kitchen staff made breakfast just for us. The inn is really cozy, and I’d highly recommend it. Great value.
