This was our third stay at Pousada Monte Carlo, and the place is still impressively clean and organized. Every area is freshly painted and very well cared for. In the mornings, they change the water in the hot tubs, and the horses come over to their caretaker to be fed. The fish in the lake are beautiful and huge. One year, we were there with our brothers- and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews, and got to watch the milking. My son had fresh milk, which was a unique experience. We both loved the horseback ride, too. The orchids around the guesthouse and near the chalets keep getting more beautiful. We always have a wonderful stay, resting and recharging in this paradise. The bar service is excellent, and the whole team is attentive, polite, and helpful. The chalets are very comfortable, and breakfast is delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We’ll definitely be back soon with more family and friends.

The hot tub was one of my favorite parts, especially while my husband fished. We spent a weekend at Pousada Monte Carlo looking for a peaceful country stay, and the farm setting was even lovelier than expected, with lots of animals, horseback rides, milking, and fishing on the lake. We even saw rare animals, including an albino peacock. The chalet was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were all friendly and polite. There’s a play area for kids and a heated pool, too. Breakfast was plentiful, with curd, cheese, and milk from the farm. If you need a break from the rush of everyday life, it’s worth going. We’ll definitely be back.
