Pousada do Largo

Clara was always kind and checked whether everything was all right or if I needed anything. I loved my stay here. The atmosphere is peaceful and family-like, and I felt at home. Breakfast was delicious and generous. I loved it all and will definitely return.

Good value, with a quiet street near the commercial center and some good restaurants. The hostess made us feel at ease, and breakfast was great. There are only two rooms at the inn, both with suites and an excellent view of Praça do Rosário. They’re spacious and airy despite not having air conditioning, and the shower was good. If you want a cozy place for the price, I recommend it.

The breakfast really stands out, and Maria Clara was incredibly attentive, with lovely suggestions for outings and guides. The B&B is opposite Igreja do Rosário dos Pretos, so both rooms have a great view. Everything was very clean, the linens smelled fresh, and the decor has a special feel, with pieces that belonged to Maria Clara's grandmother. There’s so much history and affection in the place. We’d recommend it and will definitely be back!

The owner, Maria Clara, was so welcoming, and the breakfast and hospitality made the stay especially nice. It’s a simple pousada, but tastefully done, in a beautiful colonial house right on Largo do Rosário. The location is fantastic.
