Pousada Turismo

Getting around from Pousada Turismo was easy, with convenient access to UFOP and the historic center. The rooms were clean and tidy, and breakfast was very well served. It’s comfortable, welcoming, and the service is great. I recommend it if you want a quiet stay and a good experience in Ouro Preto.

It’s a simple pousada, but very clean and the service is excellent. The recommendations we got were all great. There’s plenty nearby, including bakeries, a market, pharmacy, police, shops, bars, restaurants, and a Lan House. UFOP is close enough that you don’t need transport. The historic center is nearby too, though you’ll need a ride or, if you’re up for it, you can walk. Marília, Augusto, and Sr. José Carlos were impeccable. Thank you so much. This will always be my place to stay in Ouro Preto.

A peaceful, quiet neighborhood makes this a lovely place to rest and enjoy the city. The accommodations are comfortable, and the service is excellent.

Carlos welcomed us so warmly and helped with absolutely everything we needed. Everyone was kind and friendly. The hotel’s space is good, well organized, and very clean, with no musty smell. It’s in a good location in the Bauxita neighborhood. There’s no breakfast, but excellent bakeries nearby more than cover that. One suggestion: the pillows could be made of better material. Ours were thin, uncomfortable foam flakes. The mini-fridge also had a connection problem and kept switching on and off during the night. Neither issue spoiled our experience, though. I highly recommend Pousada turismo!
