Pouso das Glicínias - B&B

A very peaceful place, facing a wooded area and quite close to the Museu da Inconfidência. It’s a large old house with simple rooms that are very well cared for.

This is more like a family home where rooms are rented than an inn. We booked through booking, but when my family and I arrived, we couldn’t stay even one night. The house was disorganized and dusty, and animals were walking over the food served at breakfast. There was a pile of dishes, and when we asked to see the rooms before going in, they wouldn’t show them to us, as if they weren’t ready to receive us. The place smelled of dirty dog and "verdinho" cigarette smoke.

If you’re fine with throwing your money away, go ahead. The service is a smile and excuses, and while the location is good, the hygiene is MEDONHA, absolutely awful. There was a bad smell of some kind of cigarette, and breakfast had animal hair and lots of mosquitoes. Someone in the reviews mentioned poorly washed cups. This weekend they were disgusting, not just a bit dirty. Enjoy Isabele’s smile while you waste your money.

I loved the place. It’s a historic residence nearly 200 years old, still a family home, with residents and staff who are very friendly, welcoming, and receptive. The accommodation could use some essential items, and the breakfast area could offer more privacy. I recommend it! 🙏🏽🤗
