Pousada Monjolos De Minas

I first stayed here 11 years ago and was treated really well by the owner. I came back in 2026, and it was just as wonderful. Our chalet looked out over nature and had two peach trees loaded with fruit. The room was beautifully kept, with rugs, a mini fridge, and a microwave, plus there's a fireplace and gas-heated water. I'm grateful for such a warm welcome.

A peaceful place with plenty to do nearby and easy access. The chalets are very comfortable, and the heated pool is a great feature. Breakfast was spectacular, with lots of products made right at the inn. A wonderful pousada in MG.

We loved the view and the peaceful setting, far enough from town that we could see stars and even the galaxy. We stayed for two days in July, and there’s a great restaurant about a kilometer away, along with lots of options in Goncalves. The staff were so thoughtful: on our second day, they made a gluten-free cake for my husband, who’s intolerant, without us even asking. The service was impeccable, and everyone was attentive. Even the simplest chalet had everything we needed, including individually heated sheets for each side of the bed. Breakfast had lots of fresh, tasty choices, and the price of the chalets was fair. We already want to come back.

We came here to rest and recharge, and the peaceful setting really delivered. You can hear a relaxing stream on the property, and the night sky is unbelievably full of stars. The pool is genuinely heated to a very pleasant temperature. Our chalet was cozy and well equipped if you need to prepare something. The service was impeccable, especially from Dauana, who was attentive, helpful, and careful with every little detail. I'm very grateful.
