Vila Kapa

The kiteboarding club is only about a three-minute drive away, which made this a great base for our kiteboarding holiday. The house and garden are beautiful and very well looked after. You can tell Karin and Pierre, the two owners, have put a lot of time and care into the place. I've rarely met hosts as kind and helpful as them. Highly recommended.

We were there for five weeks in October and November 2018, and Karin and Pierre made us feel at home right away. We were a couple with a toddler, so it was ideal that lunch and dinner were available on request as well as the tasty, varied breakfast. The rooms are simply furnished, with comfortable beds and mosquito nets, and the ventilation was pleasant without air conditioning. Vila Kapa was still being finished, but the care in the details was already clear. It's in a quiet, secluded part of Parajuru, about a 20-minute walk from the KBC kite station or the village center. Having use of the car provided by the Vila was very convenient. Thanks so much, Ka-Pa, for your hospitality and the lovely time. We'd be happy to come back!

The kitesurfing spot is great, and Pierre-Alain and Karine can also arrange a lovely downwind trip from Pontal de Maceio to Uruau, a wonderful way to take in the coast. We had a fantastic stay at Vila Kapa. The villa is magnificent, the breakfast was delicious, and the hosts are lovely. They really looked after us and made us feel at home. We can't wait to return.

Parajuru feels like a little piece of paradise, something to discover, share, and protect. We loved this place and highly recommend it. The traditional house has been renovated beautifully, with great taste and quality materials. Karin and Pierre Alain were very welcoming and easygoing. They told us about their B&B approach: a fun project with friends and local professionals, from the building work through daily management, using plenty of fresh local produce and showing complete respect for the environment.
