The location is a real plus, close to the Crystal Palace, other attractions, and plenty of bars and restaurants. The shared spaces and kitchen were tidy, and everything there seemed to be in good shape. My main issues were the weak Wi-Fi, which didn't work in the room, and the bathroom had no hooks. There was also only one outlet, which was inconvenient with several devices to charge.

The breakfast was decent, and the main hotel is really cute with a great location. Still, anyone booking the triple room in the chalet should expect a noisy night: it's on the same street but in a separate building, and traffic kept going all night while the roof shook. Another downside is that reception only takes cash for payment.

My husband booked through Booking.com and paid the full amount by card. When we arrived, we found a message from the owners asking us to pay by PIX. That's outrageous. If we book and pay through the platform, they shouldn't contact us separately with a different payment method. In the end, our reservation wasn't honored, nobody replied to us, and we had to leave. Whatever they say in response, they're in the wrong. We chose Booking.com for the convenience and security of arranging a stay through the platform without having to handle anything else over WhatsApp.

The air conditioning wasn't working properly, which was a letdown. Otherwise, the place was quiet, the breakfast was excellent, and the room we rented was spacious with really good beds.
