Hotel Royal Park Piracicaba

The room's TV didn't work, and there were lots of mosquitoes. I ended up with several bites, which really affected my comfort during the stay. Breakfast had no lactose-free, skimmed, or semi-skimmed milk, which is difficult for someone with lactose intolerance. The hotel needs to maintain the rooms better and pay more attention to guests' comfort and needs.

The room was basic and simple, though clean. It was very noisy for sleeping, and there was no bath hygiene kit. I asked the receptionist for help and was simply ignored. I had noted in the reservation that I would be with a wheelchair user, but nobody told me there was a flight of stairs at the entrance and that we'd need to come in through the parking lot. The lot is awful, old and narrow, difficult for bigger and wider cars. The wheelchair space is in the worst possible spot for maneuvering. There's no bathing option for a wheelchair user, no shower chair or bathtub.

The breakfast was okay, but the location is noisy, and sound carries poorly between the rooms. Staff would be out on the sidewalk smoking, and every time I needed service I had to call out to them.

We were attending an event nearby and booked a room for the night. It worked out really well for that, and I'd recommend it. The place was clean, the location and service were good, and the price was fair. Breakfast was good too, especially the cuscuz, eggs, and cakes.
