Good service.

The place was clean, but everything else was a disaster. We were woken at 5:45 by the owner playing worship hymns at full volume. When I complained, he acted like he didn't know where the sound was coming from. There was no hot water for showers. The owner's excuses were flimsy, and he made no effort to fix it. The mattresses were badly misshapen from overuse, and the place is far from tourist spots, bars, and restaurants. None of the positive things people had said about it matched what we found. I can't understand how it got such high ratings.

Such a cozy, spotless place, and they take an unusual amount of care with every guest. I'll definitely come back.

The owners were fun and welcoming, and even gave us tips on places to see around town. The room was spotless, the shower was nice and hot, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was simple but really good. The place was more hospitable than I expected.
