Residence Vila Europa

The reviews were a big part of why I chose to stay here, since everyone had good things to say. They were right: the place is cozy, the hosts are wonderful, and the two women on the housekeeping team were very attentive. The location is unbeatable, with a bar, pharmacy, meals, and other things just a few meters away, practically at the door. If I come back to Porto, we’ll definitely stay here again. A perfect score all around.

We found the apartment clean and well kept, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay: a microwave, fridge, kitchen utensils, and a laundry area with a washbasin and a clothesline on the balcony. Cleaning was available on request, though we didn't need it during our three days there. There are restaurants, ice cream shops, a self-service laundromat and a place to get breakfast right nearby, and the beach is close too. Of the beach spots we tried, we liked barraca do Gaúcho best for spending the day. We were helped with everything, had a great time, and thought the price was fair.

We were a little uneasy at first because we couldn't find much of a social media presence and wondered if it might be a scam. As soon as we arrived, though, we felt reassured. The hosts were very welcoming, and the rooms were spotless. The hotel is well cared for, too. There's a pharmacy, laundromat, ice cream shop, restaurant, bus stop and small grocery store close by. I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
