Belíssimo Apto vista mar espetacular na Barra - 100 metros da praia!

Laiana was a wonderful host, always kind, helpful, and attentive to every detail. I had a fantastic stay at Barra Mar in Salvador. The place is simple but welcoming, clean, and well maintained, and the rooms are comfortable with air conditioning and what you need even for a stay of several days. The location is ideal, just steps from Barra Beach and near restaurants, bars, and clubs, so you can enjoy the beach and city without hassle.

The location is a real plus: it's very close to the Barra waterfront, but without the noise, and there's lots nearby, including pharmacies, bakeries, a gas station, snack bars, and restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean apart from the bathrooms, and the air conditioning worked well without making noise. There was also a TV, table, minibar, and comfortable beds. Service was good. Still, the reception was dark, the elevator old and dirty, and the bathrooms tiny, not suited to some body types, including pregnant or obese guests. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. They should offer a microwave or sandwich maker instead of the toaster, which only warms the bread. Parking is very limited, and if all the few spaces are occupied, it's hard even to get out of the car. There's no internal entrance from the garage to the hotel, which felt awful and unsafe for guests, who have to leave the garage, walk along the street, and enter through the hotel entrance. When I visited, they also failed to provide a double bed even though I'd requested one in my reservation. We pushed the two single beds together to avoid making an issue of it.
