Pousada Axé

This was the worst place we’ve ever stayed. The room was filthy and smelled bad. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty when we arrived, there was hair all over the room, the toilet was leaking, the shower was broken, and bits of old soap were stuck to the floor. I complained about the shower, but nothing was done. We booked accommodation with breakfast through the Decolar app, but after we arrived and paid, I asked about breakfast because it wasn’t on the reservation. Conceição said it had been suspended. After check-in and payment, our host Conceição disappeared for the rest of the stay. She wasn’t there at checkout either, so we left the keys on the table and went. I’ve included photos of the room and bathroom as they were when we arrived. A sincere warning: sadly, some people offer you something they don’t actually provide. I don’t recommend this place.
